Helan tutkijat -association
Helan tutkijat was founded in 2009. It holds variety of activities meant for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who work in the department of History and Ethnology in the University of Jyväskylä.
The mission of the association is to give advice and information for its members during problems connected to research, studies, and everyday life of researchers. Executive committee meetings are open for all members. Additionally, the association organizes activities, such as discussions focused on different subjects, parties, and excursions. The association also publishes peer-reviewed open access journal J@argonia. To support its activities, the association collects an admission fee and an annual membership fee.

Once you have joined and paid the admission fee (10 €), you will be added to the mailing list of the association. Through the list you can get information regarding upcoming events, the board meetings held by the executive committee and other current matters. Contact the chair or the treasurer if you want to leave the association.
You can leave anonymous feedback, comments, or suggestions by using the feedback form on the right side of the page. The messages are discussed in the executive committee meetings held on average once a month.
